Smoothie Straws to the Rescue
To expand the building projects for these blocks beyond the set itself and Duplo Blocks, I located some 12mm OD straws that allowed us to connect the large ends of the tube building pieces. The straws gave us a piece with two small ends--which the set does not include. With a few cuts to these straws, we had multiple sizes and greatly increased our building abilities. The photo illustrates this pretty well.
