Extremely strong won't tip over
I bought this from Ikea for my Alex desk as it's too thick for clip-on monitor mounts. It does the job perfectly. It's made of fairly thick steel, very heavy and strong, doesn't wobble or tip over. However, if you have a heavy monitor, you will need some effort to tighten the adjustment screws. I use an Acer 27" gaming monitor and it's holding up great. Extremely good value for the money, will buy another one if I decide to upgrade to a 4 monitor setup.
