Who doesn't love a good toilet flush valve? When we reno'd a few years ago. We bought 3 identical toilet bowls. and a funny thing. all three were washed away by the spirits at about the same time. I know it has to do with the fact that we used chlorinated toilet flushers. This caused the original rubber seal to swell into something black and dirty. it was literally torn to pieces, like a swollen black grease sponge. definitely. Rather than just replacing the shutters, their cost justifies replacing the whole thing. fat deposits and such. Now it takes time to replace one. Drain the water, remove the tank, unscrew that giant plastic nut. I don't have that big key. So I knocked it out with a slotted screwdriver and a hammer. Is working! When everything is put back together, it looks like the original, only cleaner. have been installed for over a month now. No problem.
