I used the short queen mattress cover for the 3 inch mattress in my tent trailer. I was concerned at first that there would be a lot of extra fabric because it’s for a thicker mattress. It fit perfectly with just a little extra loose fabric that can be covered with a fitted sheet. The material stretches to fit, so it conformed to the mattress size. I like that I can wash and dry it after camping. It has not been tested yet to see if it’s waterproof, but the backside of the fabric does have a specialized coating that looks like it will repel water.
