I bought these faux leather seat covers yesterday and was glad they would arrive overnight so I could replace my old worn out fabric seat covers and use them straight away. Update: However, my solution to the cigarette smell problem was to buy heavily scented dryer sheets and since they aren't machine washable I zeroed the dryer and threw them away. individually in the dryer for an hour with 6 towelettes at a time, which seemed to eliminate the stench. The seat covers themselves look and feel fantastic in my car, fit my seats almost perfectly and will likely fit better over time. Thankfully, I can get under my seats to attach the straps, unlike others without clearance, which would be next to impossible. Much better look and feel than my previous set.
