These are suitable if you need USB speakers. They are very underpowered and don't have a headphone jack. I'm pretty sure I saw somewhere on the list that they have a headphone jack, I can confirm they definitely don't. The volume control is better than previous reviews have mentioned, at least on my Mac you have full up and down movement (not high and low) and there is a middle mute button. There are no power buttons, the speakers are either on or not connected, and a dim orange light glows on the front. If you are looking for a volume just above the speech level, you will unfortunately not be satisfied. They play music and sound and that's it. It would be nice in a quiet office environment. Reminds me of old PC speakers that didn't run on AC at all, just a line level signal, so the maximum volume was again roughly the same as speech level. In contrast, the same size Logitech speakers plugged into an outlet are twice as loud. I know it's not really the product's fault as they're only USB powered, but rather the low volume and odd lack of a headphone jack. are the reasons for my 3-star "OK" rating.
