During a period of slow development, I upgraded to my first DSLR after realizing that my prior "professional" compact could do more. I'll make a reservation as soon as possible, it's better to buy a carcass separately and an all-subject and more enlightened lens for it, like a cheap Tamron 24-75 / 2.8 lens, for example. I'll look into that. and joy will be yours as a result. I used it while I was on vacation, and I took almost 1500 photos in total: I almost didn't use 18mm focal lengths; I started taking pictures from 24mm, but I often rested on the 55mm whale lens at the far end with a feeling of lack of it. I almost didn't use 18mm focal lengths because I almost didn't use 18mm focal lengths. A lens with a large "hole" is required for portrait photography, thus a focal length of 70–75 millimeters at the far end is also an excellent choice. The D5100 has a very quick focusing speed, which also saves photographs quickly (I took the card from class 10, 2800 for 32GB). The colors are nice, but if you are going to snap pictures outside, you should have a hood with you (and possibly a UV filter as well). The swivel monitor is a huge aid, and I made sure to make frequent use of it so that I wouldn't have to strike the most complicated positions. The ability to record videos is also quite convenient. Separately, with regard to the video, the quality is really good and resembles shooting on film in terms of the colors used and the blurring that is applied to the background, but. Since it is still a camera, it naturally has its own settings that may be adjusted to produce "movies" of exceptionally high quality. To begin, you will need to shoot a series of short clips (in general, this is the process that is followed in the Bolshoi Cinema), and then you will need to edit it. This is because the device attached to the machine is constantly looking for focus, which is why this is the case. You do this: you pick a scene, decide what aperture to use, focus, and then instantly switch the focus on the lens to manual, lock the composition using the AE-L button, and only after that do you take the picture. I was debating between this Nikon and the Canon 600D, which are almost identical in every way, but the Canon model ended up costing more (33 t. R. compared to 26.5 t. R. for the Nikon model), so I went with the option that was more cost effective. In addition, I have heard on multiple occasions that Canon whale lenses produce a soapy image; nonetheless, in this setting, you are able to run for a considerable distance while using a whale lens (only the hole is small - from 3.5) To sum it up, the camera meets all of my expectations, and the resulting images are fantastic.
