Review on πŸ”Œ TROND Mini Cube Desktop Charging Station with USB-C & QC 3.0 Fast Charger, 5ft Extension Cord, Flat Plug – Ideal Travel Power Strip for Dorm, Home Office, Cruise Essentials by Ray Welchhance

Ideal for a standing desk and for travel.

I have a desktop with 2 USB ports and 4 power ports on the underside of the table. When the table is raised or lowered, the force moves with it. The problem is I just don't have enough of these ports - I have two laptops, 3 monitors, a lamp and a scanner all requiring power on the desk, and two phones and two headsets on the desk that charge via USB will. This little power bank takes one of the sockets on the desk and "converts" it into three sockets and two STRONG USB ports - one USB-C and one USB-A compatible with QC 3. Although either C or A can be used Power can be used my Magsafe phone charger at full speed, this is only possible when nothing is connected to the other USB port; While each port can output 18-20W, the total power between two USB ports is 20W, so fast charging at full speed requires the device to be the ONLY USB device connected to the Cube. The cord is 5 feet long and comes with a Velcro strap. While there is a light on the front to show it's plugged in, it's not bright enough to light up a hotel room (I've had those chargers). What I like most isn't the feature, but it's worth mentioning - the company name is clearly marked on the device. I am unfamiliar with them and have many electronic devices from companies I have not dealt with. When I receive a product in a plastic bag and the product itself doesn't have a name on it, I know the company is trying to make a quick sale, not to gain loyal customers or notoriety. Conversely, like here, if the product is packaged nicely, the box includes the company name, a company information card inside the box, and the name/logo on the box, that tells me the company is trying to build long-term value. The best way to do that is to create a good product that the company can be proud of and TROND has done just that. I am delighted and would have no hesitation in recommending this product.
