Pictures show barb fittings, the products I received (photo attached) have a small barb on the smaller male end and no protruding barb, just something like an eyelet on the larger male side. The plastic is weak and deforms easily, which is a problem as minimal contact with the notches and surface really does require you to twist these clamps, but of course this introduces more deformation. Just a low quality scrap part. I wouldn't pay more than $0.25 for a trash can. If you need something of high quality, check out the Supply House.
