I had to send back my first model, which broke after two months. After three weeks of trial and error with Razer support, they finally let me return the faulty product and sent me a new one. I got it back three weeks later. I missed almost a whole month of streaming due to poor quality product. The new one isn't perfect either. Plugging and unplugging the device multiple times to update causes capncard to hang almost once per thread. And the sound has issues with SLOBS that shouldn't be that hard to fix (although it could be a slob issue). That being said, my El Gato has never given me such a headache. Not sure if the 4K transfer is worth the hassle.
