My husband wanted hardwood everywhere but I HATE things that stick to my feet. We have 2 toddlers/3 dogs (one is very fluffy and sheds a lot) and this little guy takes care of all the dirt and hair! This is my first robot vacuum, I've read other reviews saying their PureClean isn't far behind. Other reviews have said it's as noisy as a regular vacuum cleaner and that's completely wrong! We were really surprised how quiet it is, we can even watch TV when it's on and not be disturbed. Brushing, it empties all the dirt from the sides to the front LOVE the bacteria killer UV Not sure if it works considering I don't have anything to check for germs but still feels good Doesn't fall down ladder can go from hardwood over half an inch up to carpet adapter (I'm sure carpets aren't a problem) can usually come off on its own fairly easily Cons: 60 minute battery life, wish it was longer (I work 1 hour in the morning and 1 hour in the evenings) Small trash can (needs to be changed once a day) Gets stuck in the corner of the chair (needs to put a cushion on that edge) Doesn't clean my carpets (I have thick, dense carpets in my rooms, doesn't collect visible dirt) All in I would definitely buy again!
