Review on uxcell Knock Sensor 22060-AA070: Enhanced Replacement for 1999-2000 Subaru Legacy Impreza Forester & 1999-2001 Subaru Outback by Bomba Ton

Replacement for 2000 Forester 2.5. The only issue is cleaning the screw hole when swapping out, which I found to be a common hard problem. I didn't want to mess up the stripped hole due to the age and miles on the car so I moved the hole to the back of the original location which was factory tapped the same way (lazy and easy to fix). PS Welding JB also failed. Doesn't quite match the entire surface in the original position @ 80% but it worked fine in that position with no ck eng! to be highlighted! As stated in some research, these sensors are tuned to engine harmonics. As far as I know, I'm fine as long as the feedback is within the parameters required for normal ECU operation and does not indicate detonation and fuel enrichment. What matters is that; The engine runs normally at 210,000, fuel consumption and power are normal. Good buy!
