I installed this using the suction cup to attach it to my windshield. It’s worked great so far and hasn’t come off unless I wanted it off, but we’ll see how it does after another hot summer. The suction cup on the last holder I had melted into goo and the whole thing slid down the window.I’m pretty happy with this purchase.

I’ve had one in my car for over two years and it has been the best car phone mount. I tried a few other brands for my truck and none of them could hold my phone very long and they would always fall off. I just recently bought a second one for the truck and it’s awesome!

I have a Samsung Galaxy S21 phone with a very heavy durable case on it. I was impressed that I didn't have to take my phone case off to still be able to use this car phone stand. It also holds up my "heavy" phone with the case on it without falling down so, that was a major plus with buying this phone stand. It's very durable and worth the purchase.

UPDATE: I’m changing my review from 3 stars to 4 just because I have been very happy with the vent clip. Customer service also contacted me about sending a replacement (adhesive pad) which I appreciated. I might try to mount it to the dashboard again in the future but for right now I’m happy using the vent clip.When I purchased this my plan was to mount it to my dashboard. I purchased this car phone holder for my daughter's Honda Pilot. Hard to find a completely level location as every section of the dash and windshield are slightly beveled. I ended up installing it on the flat section of the dashboard located in front of the car's display. Instead of just installing the phone holder directly to this area, I first installed the included adhesive hard disc and then installed the holder on top of the disc.
