I like the features and cradle. The way I have this mounted, it's low and close. It doesn't obstruct the view out the windshield. I have a deeply pebble-grained plastic dashboard. It also curves down at the front. There have been multiple comments about the adhesive plate not sticking. I cleaned the surface really well. I added a couple of pieces of exterior foam mounting tape to the thin tape on the back of the plate and held it very firmly in a less curved part of the dash. I let it sit and cure for 24 hours before trying to support anything. The suction cup on the mount sticks well to this plate, but with the arm extended out most of the way, it would create a lot of twist which would probably pop the suction cup off. I added a piece of polypropylene packing foam (common in electronics packages) to support just behind the phone. It has been there for three months now, and works great! If you are going to use the suction cup, try to position the weight of the phone over the cup, or use a support for best results. it would be cool if the product had a little flip-out leg on the arm to use as a support.
