Not what I expected. I bought men's size 12. Same size as the last 30 years including last year. This is the first time the shoes fit snugly on my foot with little or no arch support. The shoes still fit, there is simply no leeway. It's good that I'm doing this review. That made me try on the shoes. Update After wearing shoes for several weeks. The shoes are comfortable to walk on, they are still a bit tight. But memory foam compresses to the point where it no longer cushions. I used to be able to wear Avia shoes all day long. In these shoes, after half a day, the legs start to hurt.
