I have been purchasing this product for 6 years since I joined my business. Yes, we use it for work. We are not law enforcement agencies, but we do require certain items in our line of business to be sealed and not tampered with. For some reason this batch is defective. When attempting to remove the tab to seal the bag, some of the adhesive separates and "VOID" appears. Well, that defeats the whole purpose of this topic, doesn't it? It is understood that some products may fail for various reasons (new manufacturer, bad glue, etc.). I contacted Safariland directly back in April. I have an email trail. Fast forward to today, October 17th, and the issue is still unresolved. Tried to work with them on product exchange (100 bags) and had to contact their product manager every week. After about 2 months he finally said they are still looking for a new supplier and could not give me an estimate of when they could replace the item. Keep in mind he initially gave us 2 options to get a refund or replace the item (and said it could take around 4 weeks). Since we needed the goods urgently and were not in a hurry, we chose the latter. After apparent inaction on their part, we finally decided to just get a refund and buy another batch (from a completely different supplier). And now getting a refund is still like pulling teeth. Remember I have repeated to them several times over the phone and email that I do not want anyone else to have this issue especially law enforcement or any legal group and that Safariland should delay this until the end of time. seems. I would also just like to point out that the product manager has confirmed that all of their tamper evident pouches of this size from this batch have the same issue. He compared it to what was in stock. This was after he asked me to send him a sample so he could see for himself what the problem was. Not only did I spend shipping money (my company money) so that Safariland could actually fix the problem, their lack of customer service is incomprehensible. PLEASE do not order this item. AMAZON should simply remove them from the list of sellers.
