Review on πŸ‘Ά Compact Lightweight Baby Jogger City Mini 2 Stroller (2019) - Quick Fold, Sepia by Steve Whited

Revainrating 4 out of 5

So wide it seems like it's about to take off. Baby Jogger City Mini 2

I originally bought the City Tour 2 but I live in New York City in an apartment building and the stairs are quite high when I go up the stairs (I lift the stroller instead of the Carrying wheelchair up due to sciatic issues) the brakes would slam and drag down the steps and I could not move. So I needed a stroller with big rear wheels and that was the City Mini 2. The City Mini 2 goes up the stairs but the rear of the stroller is very wide for no reason. There is a huge gap between the rear wheels and the frame of the stroller, unlike the Chicco Bravo the rear wheels are almost flush with the frame of the stroller so I can crawl everywhere. My house was built in the 1900's so we have these vintage double doors, one door anchors and the other swings open, the Chicco fits easily but the City Mini 2 has to fold to get through the door. city tour 2, you can definitely feel the weight difference between them. The rubber grip feels good and is very smooth on city streets. The disadvantage of the stroller is the tilt! I used to click the seat on the Chicco. NO not on the City Mini 2 there are 2 pull cords and a clamping lever to lower the seat very easily, you clamp the lever and pull it back but to raise you spread the straps which I have to go under the stroller. This is inconvenient when you are on busy city streets and you always need to look around. My daughter looked much more comfortable in the City Mini 2 than the City Tour 2 as she has a wider seat. Overall the stroller is good but it didn't work for us. It's too wide and very uncomfortable to lean back.
