I was VERY skeptical about purchasing this item for fear that it wouldn't be long enough, warm or thick and I am happy to say that it met all of my expectations.I'm 5'4" and hippie so I bought an XL and surprisingly it drapes meaning there's room for movement (no restrictions) and my ankles are covered allowing me to cuddle up on my favorite chair without an extra throw blanket. A large might have been okay but I like the roominess and rich purple color is my favorite too. Hopefully when I do laundry it maintains it color, shape and thickness without lint piling.I recommend this Bathrobe!
