You get what you pay for
Cheap, mass-produced goods - you get what you pay for. The rings are cheap and plastic (I'll probably replace them with real metal rings), the brim is fabric over some sort of cardboard, not a real brim, so expect some warping when it gets wet, also little fabric bubbles coming off the Stretch brim away from edge board as you bend it into shape.
