For the price this player is ok - it has a TON of sound anyway it's everything my son wants from his player so its great - he had over 400 songs on the 1GB player he had before, so he effectively gave up the player with more storage. his previous player was also Kobe, so now he has an extra USB cable and a pair of headphones. I've read reviews that said the headphones that came with this player aren't great, but as my son has several pairs we kept them as spares. Just don't drop that thing, you're not supposed to get hit - he dropped his and broke the screen, still playing but nothing on screen so that was saved too just in case and we re-ordered those . I also love that these players are so easy to use - just plug and play. this one didn't even come with a driver cd - plugged in and went to "My Computer", right clicked and opened - drag and drop music files in - great!
