Run!...don't walk if you're a light sleeper or sensitive to outside noise (I have both). I originally bought a Dohm Classic but the volume was a joke to the renter of the apartment... The White Noise app I was using on my phone was louder so I promptly issued a refund and was back on track Searching… I came across reviews of it. and looked at the video someone sent in comparing the volume levels of the Dohm and LectroFan... I loved it! I ordered quickly and received a few hours later that day. (not exactly, but you know what I mean!). I had the volume loud enough to drown out the audio of a movie playing on my iPad, but I didn't care...I passed out like a light after 10 minutes. I heard absolutely nothing that night including the air conditioner turning on. and off... I tested it even further by putting it in my living room to see if it would block out my neighbors who only seem to watch movies with insane amounts of bass... thin tissue paper walls again! I can't hear anything as I sit here typing this, although I had to turn the volume up a bit on my TV as I was also muted (hope my new soundbar helps with that)...everything is fine, everything, I am very happy with this purchase...didn't hear a car or a dog or a door close 🤣...I might just buy another one for the living room just to have white noise all over my apartment...it's definitely saved my sanity so far!
