Mine failed at high data rate
I had BIG problems with a USB to Ethernet Gigabit network adapter plugged into this background. (I've had no problems using the same NIC with other USB hubs, even at high baud rates, so it's not a NIC.) Returned it and bought an Anker brand USB hub and I've had no problems at all (tested transmission of several gigabytes of data in both directions on the new hub).
