I have had this product for exactly a year and I still give it 5 stars! I like its weight at night - it's soothing and stays in place. I wasn't a fan of velcro so after about 4 months I just cut them off; The product was too heavy to hold tightly on my back and the Velcro kept snagging on my clothes. Coincidentally, I liked that smell - I didn't like it at first, but then it became the smell of relief [it gets less intense after the first few months]. I use it when the pain is overwhelming - I warm it up in my 1000 watt microcontroller for 90 seconds, sit down and rest for a bit - the difference it makes is amazing. Usually after about 1/2 hour use you need to start it another minute. Also works for the nerve pain running down the front of my thighs! I wish I had made a pillowcase for him from the start; now it's kind of stained and rough, and it can't be washed.
