This item works for my mom who uses it to call her caretaker when she needs help but we were disappointed in the battery use. After one week, it started flashing blue like the batteries were dead so they went out and bought new batteries. It is still flashing blue and it has been synced to the receiver and has new batteries. We are happy she has something to call someone with but disappointed it is giving her problems. She cannot sleep with the flashing blue lights.

Ordered this product to help with my bedridden husband calling me. I was very pleased with the product when I received it. The directions were straight forward and easy to understand. It was very easy to synchronize the receiver with the SOS button. The volume control as well as the choice of ring tones made it nice to personalize. When I first received this, I was pleased at ow the wireless doorbell remote worked. The plug in part is easy to move from room to room. We use the doorbell as a call system for my elderly mother.What I am frustrated with is the round call system that can hang around the neck while in the shower. Out of the box, the lights were blinking on it and ultimately the batteries died died within a month. I contacted Sado Tech and they were great - sending me new batteries within a week or so. The system seemed good except for the SOS pendant. The system arrived on a Friday and I found that the SOS pendant had dead batteries installed. After replacing them with the included spares, the SOS pendant began giving the low battery signal four days later. I do not know if the particular pendant that I received is defective or if its a design issue. Note that the SOS pendant was activated at most five times within those four days. I contacted SadoTech and am waiting for a response.

A few weeks ago my 93 yr old grandpater who i care for had a fall in his section of my house and i didnt hear him for about 2 hours after. I thought i would try this so that didnt happen again. The remote has incredible rance. Im in the basement on one end and he is upstairs on the other wnd of a 4000 sq ft house and it works everytime. I bought this so my elderly mother could alert me if she should need anything during the night. I was shocked at how easy it was to use. I like how I can change the tune from a series of beeps to a melody. I also can adjust the sound. She wears the one button around her neck and has the other one mounted on the wall in the bathroom. Gives me peace of mind. Great quality item.

Perfect product for what we needed. My dad has parkinson. He is pretty self sufficient but a big fall risk. I sewed this into a watch band so he could wear it as a watch instead of a necklace and it works perfect. It enables him to be independant as well as not having us watch his every move like a hawk but at the sametime lets us have a way of knowing in a second if he needs help.

My daughter is multiple handicapped and as such requires close care. She sleeps in a respirator similar to the old iron lungs and has no way to contact us except thru hollering which isn't practical so we use the Sado doorbell inside her respirator and when she pushes it we have it pluged in our hall way so we can hear it when sleeping and when we are in our kitchen and living room. This device has worked quite well for us, reliably allowing an elderly family member to call for assistance over the length of our fairly long house. We're finding that a set of three LR44 batteries for the necklace lasts a week or two and they are fairly expensive if purchased in the local drugstore. I've found a 15-pack here on revain to be a much better deal.

This system works well. My only problem is that while my grandfather stays in one place but I don't. I either need a second plug-in chime or a portable chime. This system does not work with other SadoTech products, therefore I had to purchase an entire second kit to get the setup I need.

The call button works very well. It is loud enough and lights up brightly. The necklace that is to be worn around the neck came and didn't work at all. It was a throw away, my Mother never got a chance to use it. The Sado Tech is inexpensive and simplistic all you do is plug it in. I would have given it a five star rating if the necklace would of worked.

We purchased this for my grandfather who lives with my mother. We were looking for a simple, easy to use system for my grandfather to alert us if he needs assistance. This is awesome! He wears the. Each lace all day and in the evening he takes it off. We attached the remote to the wall by his bed (it comes with an adhesive strip) we can then bring the adapter to different parts of the house to listen. This was such an amazing purchase!

Did not work for us. The button was hard for my elderly father to push. Unable to use. Probably a better use for someone younger or other purpose other than a call function.

Bought 3 different doorbells, that couldn't reach 80 feet thru my house, but this works perfectly. I love that you can change the tune, and adjust the volume. Perfect for my Mom to call me from the other end of the house.

This device is perfect for 24 hour caregivers. The bell we were using was not always audible when we were in a deep sleep 20 feet down the hall. The receiver will play many types of chimes/tunes and has adjustable volume. The round transmitter is very user friendly for our patient. We also bought a second receiver, one for our bedroom and one for the main living area. I am VERY glad I bought this.

It's very simple to use- and works great. We use it as a call button for my disabled father whose room is on the other side of the house. But it would work as a wireless doorbell too.You need to replace the 3 watch batteries about every 6 months and there are no instructions for doing so. btw use a box cutter to pop it open.

Excellent product, nicely packaged, with easy set-up. Good volume controls and numerous sound choices.even happy birthday! I have a newly blind, elderly father who needs help to bathroom. He wears the lanyard during the day and at night we loop it around his hand. There is also an additional piece that can be mounted on a wall. The ringer/doorbell type unit plugs into any outlet. It seems to have a good range.

Needs an option for wrist wear, and doesn't offer safety lanyard when wearing around the neck. Otherwise, the buzzer chime is pretty loud and my grandmother has no problem working the neck button to let us know she needs something. A better option would be to include a spiral bungee key ring - the type librarians have, and affix the donut button to it. My grandmother would find it easier, and it would be safer on her arm.
