This is a wonderful product. It looks and works just as advertised. The seller delivered just as promised. We have elderly family that we are caring for and this is an integral part of our safety and security measures we have put in place to allow them to be cared for in their home. We live right next door and are able to bring each of their meals over and check in/visit with them numerous times throughout the day. This is great for those times when we aren't there. In a matter of seconds, now we are. This product saved my grandfather's life twice. It's also extremely easy for my grandmother with dementia to use on her bad days when she can't remember how to operate the phone. This product along with the family service radio's, wifi infrared cameras, and motion sensors make it possible for them to stay in familiar surroundings: maintaining as much independence as possible. We have essentially created an "assisted living" home for them that meets all of their needs, including safety. The necklace has been placed next to my grandfather's favorite chair on the side table. This is perfect since he likes to watch A LOT of Fox News in that chair. It also has the lanyard that allows him to be mobile with it as he moves throughout the house and to the bathroom in particular. It is important that he still have his privacy and independence as well as the help if/when he needs it. The other doorbell has been placed by his bedside. This is the one that was pushed in the middle of the night and allowed us to get him immediately to the hospital when he was struggling with regaining his oxygen level after a trip to the bathroom. His mind is sharp, but his emphazema, COPD, and pulmonary fibrosis have made life challenging, even with his oxygen assist. In short, this is great! Make sure that the range will work for your situation. It has worked perfectly for ours.
