I'm not sure how to answer the question "how good is this" because "too big" and "too small" really aren't enough. I will explain. I have two of these sweaters that I wanted to wear around the house in the winter as it gets very cold here. So I bought them a size up to fit over other shirts. The cut is very strange. The description of the item says it is cut "to fit your curves" and "forget the tight pants". Well, this sweatshirt is the epitome of a relaxed fit! I'm tall, so despite my size, I still have a mostly hourglass figure, and the shape of the sweatshirt doesn't suit my curves. Open it appears wider than it is longer, so it has a very rectangular shape, but then the sleeves are very narrow and fitted, making it difficult to wear long-sleeved shirts underneath. I bought it a size up but I can't imagine getting the right size would fit any better or be more flattering. Also, she sat down so much after washing that the extra size was negated. I would say it's down half a size. In addition, the fleece is very thin. I might see it as an advantage in a different climate or as a means of keeping a plus-size figure small, but I've bought sweatshirts to keep warm and the thin fleece combined with tight sleeves make them for this one purpose unsuitable. I rate it as a little small due to the tight sleeves and how much they shrink, but overall the fit is odd.
