Bought to test cells in several batteries that I needed for troubleshooting. The tester comes with proper instructions and works as intended. It can quickly show you the density of an acid (e.g. how much charge it holds/can hold) for a single cell. Find a cell far from the others, you probably have a dead battery. There were two things that were so-so. First, the bulb at the top is JUST big enough to pull out the level you need to check. You have to flatten it completely to get the levels down to the minimum barline and then it will be difficult to flatten. Second, the bulb is held in place by crappy epoxy that doesn't appear to be acid resistant. After several dozen uses, the bubble began to dissipate, making it difficult to draw up the right amount. There's nothing a fast tube can't fix, but it sucks that I had to fall back on it the first day I used it.
