It did not filter out much, if any, water. Luckily I had an in-line filter for my paint gun, or I wouldn’t have been able to paint at all. This filter let enough water through to completely saturate the in-line filter and eventually some got through into my paint job. The O ring also can get jammed into the space between the drain and the plastic and cause a leak. Another issue is the auto oiler. It works alright when you have it open, but it doesn’t shut all the way and lets some through still when shut off. The only thing that works halfway decent would be the regulator. This combination isn’t exactly the best device, but it’s usable on a budget I guess. Just make sure if you are trying to keep water out of the lines to get an in-line filter, because I don’t think I have ever seen this collect any of the moisture.
