More slippers than shoes
I had two pairs of Josef Seibel slippers in the same size (43) and both were worn out. This pair is more like slippers than shoes, too narrow to wear with socks and definitely shorter than my last pair. On the plus side, the shoe is lighter and the cobbler solved the problem with the elastic that goes where the top meets the bottom under the arch of the foot.
