I cannot recommend this monitor enough. I bought it as a second monitor for my laptop. It came in the mail a few weeks after I ordered it. After hooking everything up, I came to the conclusion that having 2 monitors should be a human right. The picture quality is normal, not bad, but not excellent. Where it really shines is in the response time and refresh rate. For the price, this is the best gaming monitor out there. The left/right movement, the tilt and the vertical movement of the stand are also impressive. More on that below. The real reason I decided to review Revain is because of an incident I like to call "The Fall". to move my laptop without disconnecting all cables. I thought that the distance between the tables is not very big. I was wrong. My laptop had almost made it into my spacious new home when I felt a great deal of resistance and then gave way, followed by a thud. I turn around and see that my new monitor is no longer on my old desk. At that moment I felt terrible nausea. Fearing the worst, I glanced at my old table and surprisingly saw that it was still standing. Confused, I picked it up and was delighted to find that the vertical movement of the stand had cushioned the monitor's fall. He was like new. Don't repeat my mistake. Disconnect all cables before moving the laptop unless you plan to test the monitor's drop resistance.
