Review on Nordic Pure Honeywell FC100A1037 Replacement by Jeremy Jackz

I bought these for the Trion AirBear Supreme. The filters arrived quickly via Prime and were dispatched in a secure box so there was no damage on arrival and room for a second filter. The filter was not installed at the factory, but the filter compartment door still closed easily. After reading previous reviews and looking at other filters I decided I wanted foam on top to maximize airflow through the filter. I used the same modification that I read in other reviews. I bought a roll of self-adhesive foam, available at any hardware store or large store, and attached it to both filters. It cost about $2.50, was very secure, and formed an almost airtight seal. So far it seems to be working fine. The cost of two filters plus foam rubber is still about half what a filter would cost in the store; and these filters also had a higher MERV rating. I have also reviewed filters of these sizes on internet air filter subscription sites, they still cost about $10 for a smaller filter with a higher MERV rating. I will most likely buy again.
