I started wet shaving over 5 years ago because various Gillette shaving systems with cartridges became incredibly expensive every year. An alternative to disposable plastic razors? Forget it; literally painful to use. The very subjective part of wet shaving is finding a blade that works on your face; it's a very personal thing. It takes trial and error to find your blade. Some blades work for one person and just don't work for another. I'm a reasonably experienced razor and can get at least one good shave with any blade (how awful) so I gave these blades to Trig. I've never heard of it, not even on online wet shaving forums. One word comes to mind"TOUCHDOWN!" Speaking of smooth! No twitching, tearing, irritation or burning after a great 3 pass shave. I buy in bulk and these blades are on my rotation. For what it's worth, I use the following blade brands: Astra SP and SS, Feather, Super-Max Super Stainless, Gillette Silver Blues, and Gillette 7 O'clock (black and yellow). Triggers are at the top of this rotation. Very handy for me.
