I have an 8 month old puppy who is a VERY heavy chewer. These Tuffy Gear Rings are the only plush toy that last longer than a week in our house. As a matter of fact, the original one we bought her, which is a little too small for her now, is still in very good shape and miraculously still has the stuffing intact. She is an expert at ripping open the seams of anything and pulling all of the cotton out in a record amount of time. The multiple layers of stitching on these rings has finally got her reasonably stumped and she is now able to have a soft toy to chew on, rather than the rubber toys that we started buying her that she didn't really enjoy. We have since purchased one of the larger rings and someone gifted us a second large ring and both are holding up pretty well (as of yesterday she ripped open the seam of one of them and got a little fluff of cotton out so I took it away from her) and much more suited to her size than the smaller ring we bought when we first adopted her. HIGHLY recommend these rings for heavy chewers!
