Review on Pound O Dice by Chessex: Your Ultimate Solution for Ample Dice Supply by Jacob Ferrarini

Like many people here I was torn between the Wiz Dice Series II 100+ Random Polyhedral Dice Set - 15 guaranteed random color sets and Pound-O-Dice. So I did the only sensible thing and bought both. And it wasn't a mistake. This wiz set contains 15 completely identical sets of high-quality dice. But Pound-O-Dice provides the necessary chaos to balance the Wiz Dice's perfect uniformity. There were NO broken or damaged dice in this pack and it was a great balance of dice types. My only complaint would be 8 or so D6 with pips included; this ain't for Yahtzee drop the pips! However, I don't regret the purchase at all. As I said, I bought both and now there are over 200 dice in a large bowl on our gaming table. Cool looking matching dice from Wiz look great paired with random and sometimes weird (but in a good way) dice from Chessex. Some players like to dig in the bowl and collect the matching set, others like to create a random set, one guy refuses to ever roll the same die twice in the same adventure; but everyone is happy. Do yourself a favour, at these prices why not just have both?
