I only used it to test the camera to make sure it worked. I ended up using the wiring option for the reverse lights. All you have to do is reverse the wire that connects the screen to the camera so the power end is at the camera end so you can connect the power wires to the reverse light by pressing the same power button that she turns on. I ended up just connecting the wires that power one of the reverse lights directly and it worked like a charm. The small/light screen comes with a vertical stand (although you'll need to attach it to the dash somehow). But it was very practical that a metal plate was already glued to the back. I just used one of my magnetic phone mounts and just attached it to it. Works perfectly. I put it in reverse and boom, the screen turns on and shows my rear view. Depending on where your camera is mounted, you can customize these on-screen lines to help you navigate your backup. You can also turn off this linear view. Good price with 2 year guarantee.
