Well I've had these shooting gloves and used them quite extensively. While I don't get them dirty by climbing or playing in the mud, I do switch between multiple firearms and do reload drills that require a good grip on the action. I wore many different pairs and told myself to try new ones every time because none made me so happy. My last ones were SKD Pig Alpha, I used to use Delta but they were too flimsy and not worth the cost. They are REALLY similar to the Alpha but a lot cheaper so even if the reliability isn't that good I can buy 2-3 of them for 1 skd glove. They are very handy and I have no problem manipulating small parts of the gun or even taking it apart. I can't fully rate the durability, but if they last longer than 3 months I'll buy another set. Very well sewn, a few small threads are sticking out but have not yet snapped. I like the padding, I don't need it for impact protection, I'm not on active duty and I don't do anything crazy. If you check out GarandThumb I'm sure you've read his recommendations I've tried them all and yet here I am raving about a cheap pair of budget gloves. I'll update the review in a few months to show wear but haven't found anything quite as good for the price.
