I work from home and also play on my computer so I spend a lot of time at my desk. After looking through many Serta chairs (which are said to be the 'best' for comfort and support) and reading many bad reviews, I broadened my search and found this. It's been about two weeks and I'm very happy with it so far. Here are the pros and cons. Pros: - Easy setup. I'm a lousy packer and put it together in about 15 minutes with no disappointments. the set includes an Allen key - microfiber, NO imitation leather ("leather", "leather", etc.). This thing breaks in no time, and then your chair becomes useless. it is also sticky in summer and cold in winter. This microfiber is soft, comfortable and feels great against the skin. It's easy to clean and won't crack like faux leather. - decent filling. I wouldn't call it ultra-plush, but the seat and backrest are pretty soft and comfortable. I am satisfied with this price range. I have chronic back pain and using this chair for a few weeks has really reduced it. - Pretty good back height. I'm 6ft 1in tall and can recline comfortably with my neck and the bottom of the back of my head resting when I recline a little while seated. - quite wide seating area. I'm 6ft 1in, about 190lbs and have a lot of room between my arms. not so wide that I felt uncomfortable. not so tight that I feel constrained. Really perfect. Cons: - no headrest, but I knew that when I bought this chair. a headrest would be nice, but chairs with it tend to be a bit more expensive. If you're looking to spend $300 on a cheap faux leather "gaming chair" with a headrest, feel free to do so. but for me, a high-quality chair without a headrest is better - it creaks and creaks a bit. it's inevitable no matter how much you spend. My boss has a $1,400 leather chair in his office, and even it creaks. I anointed a little wd-40 and the squeak was gone. You may need to reapply it in the winter months when the room is very dry. The arms are plastic, not metal. Be VERY careful when straining your arms or they are likely to break. My wife always sits in chairs with her legs tucked under and tends to press onto the armrests to pull her legs in. and this chair didn't like it. If you need something heavy, get a chair with metal arms. The box is huge and heavy. If you have back problems or are a short person, be prepared to ask for help with lifting and carrying as it is bulky and heavy. Overall I am satisfied with this chair. I've looked at probably 50 others and this one didn't disappoint. I would have preferred metal armrests, but until I'm ready to shell out another $150 or so, this chair will do.
