I have had a set of these battery operated candles from Plow and Hearth for a few years. I have them on my windows all winter. As soon as the lightbulb is rotated after putting the batteries in the timer, the timer starts, so I collect them all and do it at once. I change AA batteries about every 4-5 weeks. Be careful because the bulb that spins every time is worn out and you need to replace it due to a broken base. This is the downside I told you about. Replacement bulbs are available on their website. The base will fade over time so the bronze is silver now but mine is still not visible in the window.
