Documentation is weak - software out of date
The software provided is limited to archaic Python (2.x), so generally useless. Trying to convert it was useless, so I ended up having to download and modify competitor drivers to make it work at all. The documentation suffers in two areas: first, the typical ESOL problems, exacerbated by the technical assumption that the reader knows more than he or she could, and second, the lack of a detailed explanation of the I2C interface.
- Embedded PCA9685 chip, provides 12-bit hardware PWM to adjust motor speed; Onboard TB6612FNG dual H-bridge motor driver, high efficiency, low heat
- Not as good as advertised
