Review on 🚲 Front Mount Bike Child Seat with Handle Attachment - YouTeMei Kids Bike Seat for Adult Bike, Compatible with All Adult MTB, Easy to Install, for Children Aged 2-6 Years Old by Viswanath Lopez

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Just a few small issues I see with it.

My bike is different. This is one of the 20 inch folding travel bikes. I thought it would be really cool if my 3 year old could ride with me. I saw it and knew I had to try. I'm glad I did. Delivery was very quick like most things from Revain. Directions were included but like most were useless. Let's be honest, it's nothing special so all I had to do was look at the picture and then piece it together. It did not last long. Well, since together, I noticed a few little things. First the pens. I found that I couldn't tighten them enough to keep them from slipping. When I put pressure on them, they slide down. There are only two hex head screws that screw into the aluminum so I don't want to over tighten the screws or they will just loosen. I found that luckily they didn't move when I rolled my daughter around, so they must be tight enough to stay in place. The second issue was the seat. It installs via two thin pieces of metal that are tightened boldly. I had an issue with everything being pushed back while my daughter sat down. I'll work more on this to try and find a way to make it tight enough to move, but right now it's really slipping. As you can see from my photos, my bike has straight handlebars. It's not built like most bikes, that might be why. Anyway, I took my daughter and she loved it. Both of us on the bike were snug but not uncomfortable and it didn't restrict my movement and I was able to pedal and turn easily. Riding with her in front of me was not difficult at all. Overall I'm happy with this setup and I'm very glad I found it. If you think you have the right bike for it, I would definitely say go for it. Oh, and before I forget, it came with knee pads for my daughter. I didn't use them but they were included. My daughter, who I rode bikes with, will be 4 in a few months. She wears a size 4T and is 36 inches tall. It fit in front of me and I'm sure if I had a different type of bike or a bigger bike I would have plenty of room and could take it on a bike ride for about a year more before it gets too big.

Pros
  • πŸ”…Safety and Comfort: The fully designed rubber child bike seat can protect your aluminum or carbon fiber bike frame. The adjustable and padded saddle does not affect the balance when riding, and with the help of the baby handlebar, your child can enjoy a happy ride.
Cons
  • Big and chunky
