Review on ALTRA Women's Paradigm 5 - Medium Fit by Doug Hook

Ordering these shoes was MY mistake! Originally I wanted Altra - Torin, which I really like. However, the budget choice I wanted wasn't in my size 8 and the only other choice, Torin, was much more expensive. So, I liked her description and I took a chance. For this shoe I should have ordered a 7.5, a little less. They are good but my feet are having a hard time getting used to them. They are much heavier, bulkier and less elegant than Torin. I like that there is plenty of room around the toes and there is good side support. When I wear thicker socks they fit better but I find them difficult to wear. I use this type of shoes for walking, everyday life and training. I'm not a runner. Soon I will probably order Torin from the Altra website and not from Revain next time as Torin choices are limited. I will donate them and someone will love the durable heavy duty tennis shoes. What happened to me reflects the opportunities that come with ordering from a catalog and I should have looked further, not compromised.
