Overall an okay chair. Once built it is much heavier than you’d think, seems solid enough to last a few years for sure. Unfortunately mine arrived with a crack on the front bar that goes under the seat, the seller very quickly offered to replace bar for free or return the item. I chose to return the item, because as I was building it, I noticed the stain was a bit off, and looked ‘stripy,’ and it had a strange semi-cloudy overall finish on the piece that felt kind of like wax. Didn’t want to risk keeping it and later on finding out the finish is cracking off, or turns even cloudier with use. Perhaps it would have been fine, and it was just the one chair I received that was a bit off.I did sit in it briefly and the cushion was quite comfortable, and fit nicely in the corner I had planned to place it in. I also thought the chair was overly wide in my opinion, and not as streamlined as you’d imagine mid-century modern furniture to be, looked a bit bulky.
