It loses a star because the $5 part is $30 but other than that this part does exactly what it's supposed to do, breaks when you put it in - then go for it. A lot of people here complain about it, but I assure you they would complain a lot more if they hit something with it and ended up flying the entire bracket off the boat leaving a huge gaping hole. Believe me, breaking the bracket is a lot better than getting a hole in the boat, especially when you're dealing with a fiberglass boat.
