Straps and buckles work great. I had to fiddle around to figure out what the pictures were trying to tell me about opening and closing the latch on the buckle end of the belt, but if I can figure it out, so can you. I'm not a fan. Plastic in general but I don't think the buckle will break and it certainly looks good. And it doesn't slip (my main complaint about the Grip 6 strap, which I'm replacing). Cutting the strap wasn't easy, but I only have to make each strap once and it stays cut. Great price - choose your color and never look back.
