To be honest I really like these speakers at this price point. They're a good size for a desk and the 3 input option is great, especially the DAC via the USB input as it allows me to control the center volume for my entire computer with a knob on the rightmost speaker (which sometimes doesn't work) . . work after I wake my computer, but this is probably a problem with the driver on my computer, not the speakers themselves). The packaging was really good and there were definitely no shifts in transit. However, I did notice that the white vinyl covering the outside of the speakers peeled off a bit on the edge of the left speaker, but I just pushed it back in and it stayed in place and didn't rise back up. The speakers are pretty loud (which is great and the main reason I replaced my old Logitech 2.1 setup) and they have plenty of bass so you don't really need a subwoofer unless you want cinema-level sound for your office . So far the audio quality has been really good. Nothing amazing or anything like that, but way better than what I expected for $60. My only criticism of these speakers is that the aesthetic is overly simplistic. It's a personal preference and they look very clean, but other than the many inputs and value for money there's nothing that would really make them stand out on my desk. I would like them to come with white speaker grilles and/or possibly an offset tweeter to give these units a distinctive look that wouldn't be so generic. That said, I literally can't find another set of high quality "desktop" sized bookshelf speakers in this price range that have the same features as the Sanyun SW208.
