The old cheap basement dehumidifier died after 3 years so I figured the commercial one would last longer. Gravity feed is not needed so I ordered with a drain pump. Bought commercially. more expensive but reviews on a few different sites looked good and a 5 year guarantee. Easy to set up but I had trouble with the hose attachment and compression fitting. As soon as I plugged it in it started and worked fine for 5 days. This then caused GFCI and water all over the floor. Powered back on and got an error message (E-4) - pump failure. Followed the instructions, restarted the machine and the pump worked for 1 day and then failed 3 times in 2 days. Did. send it back Served only 5 days. 5 year guarantee. I'll look for something cheaper. $856.00 should last longer than 5 days.
