The boots don't hold up so I sew on elastic straps (like Walkee Paws) - except these boots are much more durable on the soles and shouldn't tear through like expensive Walkee's Paws do it. They fit my dog perfectly and I love the long length that keeps feet warm. My dog's paw was shot, her bones are broken and metal fragments are stuck in her paw, and her paw hurts from the frozen ground. I believe these boots (with straps) will give her the protection she needs so we can walk comfortably in the cold.
