🐶 Premium Nutrish Dry Dog Food by Rachael Ray - Chicken & Veggies Recipe (Packaging May Vary) Review

I am usually very satisfied with this product. My dog has been eating this food for years, but this time when I went to fill the food container, I found that half of the food was moldy. Because of this, I had to throw out the whole bag of food. Unfortunately, due to the fact that I bought such a large bag, I was unable to return it as this happened after the return deadline.

I've been feeding this to my dog for the past few months and she loves it. I've just ordered what will probably be our third bag and as I was about to pour it into their bowl I realized something was wrong. The food was slightly larger than the porous bag we had and there were a few larger pieces that were covered in mold. I'm not sure what happens when you have a sealed bag of dog food, but I can't in good conscience feed it to my dog again.

This is the second time I've ordered dog food from Revain which makes this boy feel bad. I don't know if he's been in storage for a month because of dampness or bad sealing, but Hugo is a mastiff and was suffering from serious gastrointestinal problems. I live in an apartment so it wasn't fun taking him downstairs every half hour to get rid of the moldy food. A couple of times he didn't come down (Goodbye, $600 deposit!) No more Revain dog food.

This food made my poor dog so sick. Lethargy, profuse vomiting and bright red bloody diarrhea. I've never seen anything like this. This dog was the epitome of health before the advent of this food. I took him to the vet with these symptoms and he prescribed me antibiotics, probiotics and told me that for a few days he was only fed chicken breast and white rice. The day after I started medication and a new diet he felt much better and the next day he came to his senses. I put him back on that…

My dogs love this food. First, I have two very different dogs: an 80-pound Pitbull and a 20-pound Minipin/Chihuahua mix. Both love this food. If, like me, you're hesitant about dog food, maybe this will nudge you in the right direction. I would like to have an unlimited budget for them like I do for most people. Although my dog seems to like the taste of this food, he (35 lb. Pointer Mix) has horrible bumps all over his skin. At first I thought it basically contained all the healthy ingredients, but after doing some research and looking at the ingredients I found the following which is not only disgusting but also harmful to dogs.
