UPDATED 5/12 - TLDR: If you want a light, airy popper that isn't finicky at all, get the Presto Pop Lite popper (my friend has one) . If you want a super cute device and are willing to take a few extra steps to get the perfect popcorn, get this one. I've already used my new popcorn 10 times to perfect the popcorn process - please follow the instructions below! before you put the grains in! (This will SIGNIFICANTLY reduce the amount of unpuffed beans that come out.) 3) DO NOT fill the chamber more than the instructions say! The measuring cap has a line on the inside that shows the maximum level. If you put in more beans than you should, you will end up with a bunch of burnt popcorn beans because there isn't enough air in the chamber. _____________________________ UPDATED 21/4. Let out smoke and fill the kitchen with the smell of burnt plastic. :( I hope it was just a defective block. I've just requested an exchange so I'll update this review once I get a new block. _______________________ To be honest I chose it over other Air Poppers because of its looks. Yes, I'm very shallow when it comes to kitchen appliances. It's even cuter in person! But it arrived dirty, which is odd because it came in a sealed box with a 'tamper evident' sticker. It was this brown Water on the front panels and black scuffs on the top of the unit.(- 1 star) I'm lazy and hate giving things back so I decided to just clean it up and give it a try The tastiest popcorn that always looks good on my countertop (+4 stars)
