I have had this lighter for about 18 months now. Works flawlessly. I've seen some bad reviews about it not working after refueling and some about it not working to begin with. I don't know your specific situation, but I know you need to know how to refuel and refill butane gas lighters. Before refueling, the gas/air must be released through the bottom valve. If you don't do this, your lighter will not have enough pressurized gas to ignite. I learned this the hard way. Just tried adding butane when it was new and it didn't ignite. An experienced friend showed me what I was doing wrong. In terms of durability, I'll admit this is my pocket lighter so it may not have been designed for use by some other users, but after 18 months it's still working! And the last. Advice, don't use cheap butane. This is also very important! Most good cigar shops will help you buy the stuff you need!
